Our relaxing and historic town has grown to nearly 40,000 but still retains it's seaside charm. One of Ormond Beach's most famous residents was John D. Rockefeller. Determined to live to be 100 he sent his employees on a search to find the most 'pollution-free' place to spend his retirement. They reported back to him - they had found the perfect place in Ormond Beach. So in 1914 Rockefeller purchased a home 'The Casements' on the sunset viewing side of the Halifax River, became an active and caring local resident and lived to be 97 years old. His restored home now serves as a cultural and community center, is open for free tours and can be reserved for weddings or special events. Also in 1904, before Indy and Daytona, our hard packed sand beaches became the 'Birthplace of Speed'. It was back then that Fred Marriott set a land speed record of 128 mph that stood for four years. Ormond Beach also known for its exceptional schools and universities like Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, shopping, restaurants, entertainment venues like the Peabody Auditorium, Jackie Robinson Ball Park and the LGPA International Golf Club and Tournament.
Whether it is a luxury oceanfront condo, golf property or a lakeside or riverfront home, we can find the perfect property or sell your current home and turn your dreams into a lifetime of happiness.
